Jealousy- Seamus Finnigan x Reader

You glared at the Irish boy standing across from you, scowling heavily as you crossed your arms across your chest. “Why are you being so mean to Harry? It’s not like he’s done anything wrong and he’s not lying!” you demanded irritably.

   “Me mam said-”

   “I don’t care what your mom said Seamus, just because she says something doesn’t mean she’s right!” you snapped in exasperation. “Think about it for yourself for once! Everyone’s got a story right now and I want to believe Harry’s!”

   “Why?”

   “Because he’s my friend and I trust him!” you retorted. “I thought he was your friend too! You know Harry wouldn’t lie to us about You-Know-Who!”

   “No I don’t know anymore! It’s like everything’s just blowing up in my face [f/n], I don’t know what to think anymore!” Seamus exclaimed, throwing his hands up into the air in frustration.

   “I thought you loved explosions, you’re around them so often!” you shot back, deepening your scowl.

   “Stop it! Just stop it!” Seamus snarled, shaking his head, “You know what’s wrong!”

   “Try me.”

   He returned your scowl, “I don’t like you being around Harry so much.” he muttered.

   “We’ve been over this, he’s my friend-”

   “It’s not like that! You-Know-Who isn’t the issue here!”

   You stared at Seamus, cocking your head slightly to the side before it all clicked and you realized with a start what he meant. Overcome by a sudden rush of confidence, you moved forwards, grasping the Irish boy’s tie and pulling him forwards into a kiss. He froze for a moment, obviously startled before his arms wound their way around you, tugging you closer and deepening the kiss. You saw fireworks and it felt as if your entire body was tingling as he pulled away, resting his forehead on yours.

   “It told you it had nothing to do with You-Know-Who,” he mumbled, kissing your cheek.

   You smiled, letting out a small giggle, “Seamus Finnigan, don’t tell me you were jealous.”

   “I might’ve been.” he chuckled, his cheeks flushing a light petal pink.

   “Just the way I like it,” you hummed, giving his tie a tug as you stretched up to kiss his nose playfully.
